入学要求

  • 录取M.Ed. with a concentration 中学教育 with specializations in Art, 英语, 历史, or Mathematics requires a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a passing score on the Communication and Literacy portion of the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure (MTEL).
  • A minimum undergraduate overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.00在4上.需要00刻度.
  • Candidates with deficiencies in the liberal arts or sciences (content area) will be required to take appropriate courses before admittance to the more advanced studies in the sequence involving teaching methods and practice.
  • Students must pass the Communication and Literacy portion of the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure (MTEL) to be admitted to the M.Ed. with a concentration 中学教育 with initial licensure programs. 
  • Applicants are evaluated based on numerous factors including previous college coursework, 推荐信, 个人陈述.
       1. 所有申请M.Ed. 中学教育, Concentration in Art must submit ten (10) to fifteen (15) digital images of the applicant’s artwork through Slideroom. This may include multiple slides to show detail.

The program requires a minimum of thirteen (13) courses which include: five (5) education core courses, five (5) education field study and practicum courses, and three (3) specialization content-matter courses. A timed comprehensive examination is required as the student’s culminating experience.
